Classes at University of Nevada Las Vegas

We provide instruction as part of UNLV's Continuing Education program. For the Spring 2022 session, our classes will be offered on dates shown below:

Landscape Photography: 2 sessions of 6 hours each on Saturdays - March 5 and 12.
Travel Photography: 1 session of 6 hours on Saturday March 19.
Desert Night Sky Photography: 2 sessions of 3 hours each - March 17 and 18.

These classes include in-class instruction where we discuss camera settings and topics related to composition and light. Then we put all that new knowledge to work with an in-field practical session.

Building a Photography Business: 6 sessions of
3 hours each on Tuesday evening - March 1 through April 5.

This class is offered to photographers who want to develop their hobby into a business. We will discuss issues of corporate structure, contracts, copyright and marketing.

Private/Small Groups

We organize classes and workshops for individuals and small groups. Our courses are tailored to the skill level of the individual and/or group and can be based on Basic Landscape Photography, Sunrise/Sunset Photography using graduated neutral density (GND) filters, and Night Sky Photography. We love getting out on location with our students to provide them with authentic opportunities and hands-on experience.
